Expired Coupon Daze! - Pillsbury Squoze
I'm not even sure how to say the name of this product. I triple checked it several times after I typed it out and still think I have it wrong.
Can't say I remember this stuff. Basically 1/2 the sugar drink mix. Another 70's product that vanished.
Came in Lemonade, Cherry, Orange, Lemon Lime, Grape and Punch.
The demise of this product had to be it's name. Or it's freakish torn in half mascot, which I'm pretty sure is either lemon or a meatball.

The Return of the Greatest Kool-Aid flavors!!!!
Just a quick post today to point out the fact that Kool-Aid has brough back to the store shelves (for a limited time) some of the greatest previously discontinued flavors of all time. A few months ago I had a post about how I found Sharkleberry Fin on the shelf at my local grocery store and since then I was hoping they would bring back more.
Well, I'm here to let everyone know that they must have been reading my mind (or Kool-Aid is working with the NSA), because in stores now you can get Purplesaurus Rex, Rock-A-Dile Red, Great Bluedini, and Pink Swimmingo! So go! Go Now, before they are gone for another 20+ years!
(Thanks to the Impulse Buy for pointing these out! - www.Theimpulsebuy.com)

It's Back, People! Get out of the Water! Sharkleberry Fin has Returned!!!!
Mini post today to let you know what I found at the grocery store the other day. I found this:
Yep, it's back. After disappearing from shelves back in the 90's, Kool-Aid has brought back one of it's classics. For how long? Who knows. That's why I bought a couple (and picked up the display holder too...).
So the real question now is will we see re-releases of the other flavors in the set? Rock-A-Dile Red, Purlesaurus Rex, Great Bluedini, Pink Swimmingo and Incrediberry? We can only hope, wait, and see I guess. In the meantime, I'll make some phone calls, shot off some emails, and see what I can find out. More to come (I hope).

From the Beverage Aisle: King Stir
Product: King Stir
Company: Pacific Hawaiian Products
Years: I'm guessing late 60's. Complete Guess, though.
King Stir.....the Bubbly drink mix on swizzle sticks.
Here's another product that was just a bit before my time, but I recently saw this item posted on Flickr by Grickly, and I fell in love with it. The magical swirl in the glass.....the candy coated swizzle sticks.....the legless king.....love I tell you. Love it.
I know very little about this other then that the packaging rocks, so any and all info to help fill in the Bio would be welcomed. It was made in Fullerton, CA in what I'm guessing was the mid to late 60's by a company called Pacific Hawaiian Product. It came in Orange and Lemon Lime (Imitation Flavors) and I'm betting it came in more.
So yeah, I know about .5% of the history of this. But I know 100% that the package is amazing.
And I'd really like to know what's up with the legless king. Combine Accident? Or is he a ghost king?
